Scott Rhodes out for rest of season

YORK City Knights boss Paul March says he will not make any panic signings after it was confirmed club captain Scott Rhodes will miss the rest of the season.
The 27-year-old half-back, who has not played since the Northern Rail Cup loss at Gateshead on March 2, needs major shoulder surgery.
It is another huge blow to player-coach Paul March, who is yet to oversee a win in nine games in charge and is set for another spell on the sidelines himself after suffering a calf injury against Barrow on Easter Monday.
March said: "He's seen the specialist and he needs an operation to play again. It's a matter of when is best for Scott to get the operation done.
"It's a massive loss to the club, but he's still about the place. He will stay club captain, but Dave Buckley will now be the on-field captain and take that role on full-time.
"We'll have a look around to see who's available but we will see how things go."
Fellow half-back March fears his injury is a muscle tear and he will almost certainly miss Sunday's trip to title favourites Oldham.
