TV makeover guru has helped to relaunch a North Yorkshire fashion boutique.

Style expert Nicky Hambleton-Jones, of the Channel 4 TV show Ten Years Younger, was in Helmsley yesterday to celebrate the launch of recently- revamped upmarket fashion retailer Pennita.

The personal stylist, nutritionist and general miracle worker held a champagne reception at the Castlegate store.

Boutique owner Penny Brudenell personally oversaw the £250,000 makeover.

The old store has been remodelled to make way for two floors of retail space complemented by a new glass atrium and entrance. Penny said:" I pride myself on offering our clients something different - we are very selective in our buying and source from all over Europe and the US to ensure we provide a choice of quality ladieswear and accessories not found anywhere else on the high street."
