CELLIST Dave Loew plays album tracks and signs copies of his Safari In Classics CDs at the York Designer Outlet next Friday and Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
"I appear in top designer centres promoting my self-made brand, and this will be my first time up there in York, " says Dave, who once paid £55,000 for the privilege of performing at the Royal Albert Hall.
He has played professionally since 1971 in orchestras in Britain and Australia and his solo recording career began in 1987, originally on Polygram and since 1999 on his own label, Safari In Classics.

"At the heart of Safari In Classics is the presentation of classical and mainstream music with a solo cello as 'the voice', supported by both traditional and modern instruments, " says Dave, whose past concert performances in Australia include the Sydney Opera House and Formula One Grand Prix.
This spring will see the release of albums 4 and 5 in the Safari In Classics series, featuring the world premiere of Geoffrey Burgon's Island At War, tributes to Glenn Miller, The Shadows, Elvis Presley and Eric Clapton, movie soundtracks and classical masterpieces.
